Hi there! I’m Nikki, a licensed educator with over a decade of professional teaching experience. I have had the privilege of teaching in Ecuador, Colombia, and the United States, and have been teaching students virtually from around the world since 2018. I received a minor in Spanish, and after years of practice and living in South America, I am proud to be bilingual.
My passion lies in teaching children about the world around them, fostering a sense of curiosity and global citizenship. One of my greatest strengths as a teacher is my ability to build rapport with students quickly. I encourage questions and conversations, creating a safe and comfortable learning environment where students can thrive.
A significant focus of mine is building confidence in my students. I approach each student holistically, addressing not only their academic needs but also working on essential executive functioning skills. My goal as a learning coach and tutor is to provide students with the tools they need to succeed both in and out of the classroom. They will receive the emotional, motivational, and academic support they deserve.
